  2. Pushpagiri is one of the holy places in Kadapa district for Hindus. This place is located on the banks of river Pennar (Pinakini) about 16Kms from Kadapa city. Pushpagiri is famous for its numerous temples. This is the only holy place for both Saivas and Vaishnavas (two divisions of Hindu religion).

  3. Pushpagiri is a famous holy place where Chenna kesava swamy temple is located. The temple is on the banks of River Penna. Very near to Pushpagiri another great temple namely Sri Kasivisweswara Swamy temple is present, which is also very accient one. In ancient days Pushpagiri was called as "City of Temples", even today it is called as Southern Kaasi (Vaaranasi). Pushpagiri temples are placed under control of Archeological Department of India to protect the temples. Chennur is located with very good tourist places where the River view from the temple is amazing and entire family can enjoy by swimming and trecking the small hill behing it. This is nearly 9 km from chennur.
